Closed: First Reports of Windows Running on Intel Macs
Update: MacRumors is reporting that the contest is over, with the winner pocketing $13,854.
Update: This looks promising, but with a $12,000 prize up for grabs it's unlikely we'll hear details of anyone's progress before they've claimed their prize.

Now that the inside of a Mac isn't that different to the inside of a PC, it's only a matter of time before we see Windows running on a Mac. Apple has said they won't do anything to stop it - the only problem at the moment is that the new Macs use EFI instead of BIOS, which isn't supported by Windows XP. It will however be supported in Vista, and we may well see a hack before then.
